Tide’s Latest Commercial Features a Joke About How White People Smell When They’re Wet
Alert the masses! Tell your friends. The cat is outta the bag. Someone in the creative advertising department for laundry brand Tide may have gotten word that sometimes Black people say white people smell like a wet dog.

There are no scientific findings for this phenomenon, but the thought is so common that it has prompted satirical articles and even legitimate conversation on Yahoo! Answers. Perhaps it’s the growing amount of questioning surrounding this pheromone phenomenon that inspired Tide to be part of the solution.
Their newest advertisement features a white woman who is visibly frustrated because, no matter what she does, a wet dog odor comes from her clothes.
