Todd Bridges has no sympathy for the departed. The Diff'rent Strokes actor tweeted some controversial comments about Robin Williams just moments after news broke the actor had committed suicide. Bridges called Williams' self-inflicted death "a very selfish act."
"You don't think that my life has been hell and I've had so many ups and downs now," Bridges ranted. "If I did that what am i showing my children that when it gets tough that's the way out No you gotta buckle down ask God to help you. That's when prayer really comes into effect." 
The child star concluded with a diplomatic, "Rest in peace Robin Williams I hope you found what you were looking for."
Williams had been battling severe depression as well as drug and alcohol addition for the past several years, his rep said in a statement today. The Oscar-winning actor is survived by his wife Susan Schneider and three adult children.
