Christopher Darden’s Daughter Speaks Out On Her Father Representing Nipsey Hussle’s Alleged Killer: ‘I Found Out Through Social Media’
Ever since Christopher Darden announced he’d be handling the defense of Eric Holder, social media’s been scratching their heads and asking “why?”
One of the prosecutors in the infamous O.J. Simpson murder trial announced he’d be defending Nipsey Hussle’s alleged murderer last week and it’s spun the whole aftermath of the woefully tragic death in a new direction. It’s also had many criticizing Darden – so much so that people are actually going after the attorney’s daughter.
Jeneé Darden took to her Instagram early Sunday (April 7) and revealed that she’s been receiving “vile” messages from people over her father’s decision to represent Holder. She also claimed she found out the news of the decision like everyone else did:
Holder pleaded not guilty to all charges linked to the March 31 shooting outside of Hussle’s Marathon Clothing store. On Thursday (April 4), Los Angeles County prosecutors filed charges against Holder, 29, which include murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Holder appeared in a downtown courtroom Thursday afternoon, two days after his arrest and almost 48 hours after the manhunt for him began.
Authorities claim Holder and Hussle, born Ermias Asghedom, know each other and had a conversation on Sunday afternoon outside Nipsey’s store. They say Holder left the scene and eventually returned with a handgun and shot the rapper six times. Hussle later died at a nearby hospital. Two other men were wounded in the attack.
