Leah Still Back Home After Post-Cancer Setback
Devon Still's Father's Day present came one day late.
The Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle welcomed his five-year-old daughter, Leah Still, back home Monday after 49 days inside the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for post-cancer treatments. Still made it official, posting an Instagram shot of Leah poolside with the caption, "back like she never left."
It has been a long, arduous road for Leah, who bravely battled pediatric cancer under the national spotlight for much of last year. This past March, though, the Stills received encouraging news that there were no found traces of cancer in Leah's body.
However, her post-cancer treatments required Still to endure another lengthy hospital stay. Although she's now well enough to be home, she will continue outpatient treatments, including stem-cell treatments and immuno-therapy.
