[Look] A Mother Is Seeking Answers for Why Her Daughter Is Missing
The family of Nayla Kidd (pictured below) has found themselves in a terribly tragic situation, as their 19-year-old daughter has been missing for over a week now. Unfortunately, the investigation has since uncovered minimal details.
As reported, the teenager went missing from New York City’s Columbia University’s campus on May 5, and not too long after, her Facebook page was mysteriously deleted. Additionally, police said that her cell phone and bank account numbers also were changed, which in turn, makes it that much more difficult for police to track down her whereabouts.
Kidd’s mother, La Creis Kidd, has traveled from their hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, to search for her daughter, saying that taking into consideration her daughter’s character and above-average intelligence, she feels something has to have happened for her to “just drop the ball” and disappear in the manner that she did.
Kidd is described as thin, 5-foot-9, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the New York City Police Department's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
