Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late Tops Billboard Charts
It doesn’t really matter if Drake's new release is considered a mixtape or an unofficial album, fans turned out in droves to support the Toronto rapper.
According to Billboard, Drake earns his fourth No. 1 release this week, pushing 535,000 copies of If You're Reading This It's Too Late, since last Thursday (Feb. 12). The numbers include digital streams and downloads, the latter accounting for 495,000 of the total sales units.
Drake broke Spotify records with the release, which has been streamed 17.3 million times over a four-day period. He hasn’t revealed plans to release physical copies.
The YMCMB star is due to drop his next studio album, Views From the 6, this year.
