Not only did Nicki Minaj pick up the Best Hip Hop Award this weekend at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards, the Young Money first lady also reigned supreme on the stage with a headlining set that took us through "the past, into the future and back to the present," as she described.

Amid performances of her hit, very pop song "Super Bass," and her ode to golden-era hip hop, "Anaconda," Nicki dropped a snippet of a brand new one, "Bed of Lies," with singer Skylar Grey. 

Grey handled the piano and the chorus, "Do you ever think of me when you lie?/ Lie down in your bed, your bed of lies/ And I know better than to look in your eyes/ They only pretend you will be mine..." she started before Nicki came in with a heart-wrenching verse about heartbreak.

"You could never make eye contact/ everything you got was based off of my contacts / You a fraud, but I'ma remain icon stat / Balenciaga on my boots with the python strap," she spit in a sentiment similar to her previous PinkPrint single, "Pills N Potions."

"I can't thank you guys enough for the energy tonight," she later said as she accepted her award. "After two years I'm delivering my third album, it's called The PinkPrint. I'm so excited to share it with you guys December 15 and I will be back out here next year to perform."

The MTV EMAs took place in Glasgow, Scotland Sunday, Nov. 9.
