Chief Keef Accused of Not Paying Child Support
Judging by his Instagram account Chief Keef isn't hurting for cash, yet he hasn't been taking care of home, according to his baby's mother. The young girl claims Keef has only paid her $1,900 rather than the $2,600 monthly child support he was ordered to shell out.
Back in May a judge ruled that the Chicago native give 20 percent of his alleged $13,000 a month salary to the child's mother, in addition to $500 monthly for daycare. Since he failed to pay, the baby's mother filed new legal document to get what she's owed. Furthermore the youngster (who's only in middle school) can't support herself without Sosa's help, and needs him to start paying up as soon as possible.
A court date has been set for September. If Keef fails to appear, a warrant will be issued for his arrest.
Keef fathered the child, whose name or age has never been released, when he was 15. He has another baby, a daughter, who he routinely shows off online alongside stacks and stacks of cash.
Despite tepid sales of his Finally Rich debut, the 17-year-old rhymer continues to bring in money doing shows around the country, and allegedly signed a three-year deal with Interscope Records worth $6 million. The money however is being kept in a trust until he turns 18, next month.
