Lil Wayne Enlists T.I. and Future for America's Most Wanted Tour
N’awlins-bred rapper Lil Wayne continues to prove he’s other-worldly with more details emerging about his America’s Most Wanted Music Festival, part deux.
The 40-date, two-month trek through every time zone in the contiguous United States kicks off July 9 at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Birmingham, Alabama, with a bill that now includes Future as well as the previously announced T.I.
These details are being revealed less than two weeks after Tunechi’s multiple hospital visits sparked death bed rumors on the Internet, and just before today’s release of his tenth studio album, I Am Not a Human Being II.
The first America’s Most Wanted jaunt was in 2009 and featured the YMCMB family along with Soulja Boy, Young Jeezy, Rihanna, Jeremih and a surprise performance from 50 Cent (who’s recorded shots at Weezy). It reportedly brought in over 800,000 fans and grossed $42 million.
Following the tour’s close on September 1, Wayne is scheduled to take on a postponed Europe trip with Mac Miller.
