E-40, Too $hort Headline First Inaugural West Coast Fest
Hip hop fans young and old are in for something special this Thursday, when some of the biggest names on the West Coast will ascend upon Club Nokia for the inaugural West Coast Fest.
The event, which will be hosted by none other than Power 106's Big Boy, combines some of the more iconic names in the storied coast's history, with some of its hottest up and comers.
This year will feature headliners DJ Quik and E-40, who will be joined by Too $hort, Warren G, Mack 10, Baby Bash, Clyde Carson, Problem and Skeme, with many surprise guest appearances expected.
The event's executive producer, Jamie Adler, cites a lack of shows that bridge the gap between new artists and veterans as the inspiration behind the event, which has been in the works since late 2012.
"We want to give Los Angeles an amazing package with all of these influential artists in one night," said Adler. He added, "It's a great feeling to be able to have these artists I've grown up listening to all perform under one roof."
West Coast Fest presented by Bobby Dee, Clubben.com and Behind the Scenes will go down this Thursday (March 21) at Downtown L.A.'s Club Nokia. Tickets are still available at www.clubnokia.com.
