Early this morning William Drayton Jr. aka Flavor Flav was arrested for allegedly assaulting someone in his home with a deadly weapon, according to TMZ. Law enforcement officials reported that Flav got into a verbal disagreement with a teenager in his house in addition to his fiancee. The argument escalated to the point that his fiancee called the police. It's unclear if the teenager is one of Flav's kids.

The rapper allegedly threatened one person with a knife during the debacle and physically attacked the other. It hasn't been revealed whether he battered the teenager or his fiancee. He was arrested around 3 a.m. and booked on two charges: felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic violence. The former reality star is currently being held on $23,000 bail.

This news comes shortly after his legendary hip hop group, Public Enemy, was announced as a nominee for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hip hop artist has been touring with the group occasionally, reconnecting with old fans and spreading his love for rap music. Fans will have to wait and see how his recent arrest will affect his involvement on the tour.
