Kanye West took the stage for a limited, two-night engagement in Atlantic City this past weekend, and in a signature rant during one of the shows, the outspoken rap superstar set his sights on notorious gossip website MediaTakeOut.com. Making a familiar argument that the media only focuses on the negative, Kanye railed against MTO in particular.

"If you have something to give the world, a lot of times, the press just tries to take everything negative," he began. "Just look at MediaTakeOut, they so f---in’ full of sh-t. Show your motherf---in’ face so I can smack the sh-t out of you! Making up sh-t every day."

MediaTakeOut has made its name running countless rumor-filled stories about West and other black celebrities. Recently, the site caused a stir when it posted purported sex photos of the G.O.O.D. Music leader and his girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

Pivoting from tearing into the media into building himself up, Kanye boasted that he was the producer of the greatest music of the modern era.

"I am flawed as a human being. I am flawed as a person. As a man, I am flawed. But my music is perfect!" he yelled excitedly. "This is the best you gon’ get ladies and gentlemen in this lifetime, I’m sorry. You could go back to Beethoven and sh-t, but as far as this lifetime, though, this is all you got."
