Report: Jay Z and Beyoncé Move to New Orleans

Word is the Carters bought a former church near Solange.

Beyoncé and Jay Z may have a new address. The power couple reportedly added to their lengthy list of assets by purchasing a new home in New Orleans, where they will be neighbors with Bey's sister Solange Knowles and her husband Alan Ferguson.

Of course, the Carters wouldn't do anything so ordinary as buying an average mansion.
Curbed.com reports that Bey and Jay may have bought a 13,292 square-foot Spanish baroque residence in New Orleans’s Garden District (pictured below). The unique selling point of the property? It used to be a Presbyterian church.

Now, those high ceilings and stained glass windows will make a home for a family worshipped almost as much as the Lord.

So, to recap: when this couple wants a drink, they buy a luxury champagne company. When they want to watch a basketball game, they buy a team. And when they need a place to set up house, they move into one previously occupied by Jesus.
Amen to all things Carter.
