During her recent appearance on E! News, Kelly Rowland assured fans that she did not pull a Kerry Washington move with a secret marriage to boyfriend Tim Witherspoon. The singer also said that she's not Blue Ivy's godmother, but she has several godchildren and is fine with looking after them and babysitting until she's ready to raise some of her own. 

"It's been a minute [since I babysat]. I think I would really enjoy it right now, because I just need to hold a kid and give it back. Sometimes it's good birth control," she said.

Rowland, 32, who's cited selfishness as a reason why she doesn't want to be a mother yet, said that she's too focused on her career to put her ambitions aside to raise a family.

"I don't know. Too busy with the career. I do want kids, I do want to be married. But, I want one kid," adding that she'd put in the effort to make sure that child is "nice, smart and mentally stable."
