Naomi Campbell, Celebs Hit Cannes Charity Catwalk
When Naomi’s temper is under control, she uses her energy to do great charitable works through her foundation. Naomi snagged some her celebrity friends to strut down the catwalk in her Fashion for Relief runway show on Monday (May 16). The A-list crowd took time at the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival to help raise money for the Japanese Red Cross, which will aid victims of the tragic earthquake and tsunami that recently devastated Japan. As expected, Miss Naomi was fierce for her runway appearances, in gowns by Yves Saint Laurent, Marchesa and Alexander McQueen.
Rosario Dawson was among the big names that Naomi called on to rip the runway, tweeting, "About to rock the runway with Naomi Campbell! Ahhh! #Japan @Fashion4Relief #Vogue #Cannes." The actress gave the veteran model a run for her money when she took to the catwalk in a sexy black dress with a red feathered bolero jacket, and again when she rocked a slinky tangerine number.
“I felt very passionate to try and help in whatever way possible, to do our part and to support at this time. I hope that the money raised from Fashion for Relief in Cannes will support those who need it most,” said Naomi.
This is the legendary supermodel's sixth iteration of the Fashion for Relief runway show.
