#OscarsSoWhite: Not One Black Actor Received a Nomination

Find out who was snubbed.

Remember that hashtag #OscarsSoWhite that trended last year? Well, expect to see it again because it was another year of little to no diversity for the Academy Awards.

Even with stellar performances by Will Smith in Concussion, Idris Elba in Beasts of No Nation and the epic success of Straight Outta Compton, not one Black actor received a nomination. Even Samuel L. Jackson wasn't recognized for his stellar performance in The Hateful Eight.

Twitter wasted no time calling out the Academy for once again overlooking talented actors of color:

Meanwhile, the white Hollywood establishment continues to be celebrated. Leonardo DiCaprio, who is likely already working on his acceptance speech for The Revenant, will be up against Matt DamonEddie Redmayne, Bryan Cranston and Michael Fassbender for Best Actor.
Academy favorites Cate Blanchett and Jennifer Lawrence, along with Brie Larson, Saoirse Ronan and Charlotte Rampling, are the nominees for Best Actress.
The morning's one big surprise was Sylvester Stallone's nomination in the Best Supporting Actor category for Creed. Hopefully he'll remember to thank Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler if he wins this time! Another nice surprise was Straight Outta Compton's nod for Best Original Screenplay, which was the film's only nomination.

Best Picture nominees are The Big ShortBridge of SpiesBrooklynMad Max: Fury RoadThe MartianThe RevenantRoom and Spotlight.

Unfortunately, this was not Will's year for a nomination. Watch the actor humbly talk about his craft in our exclusive interview below:
