Terrence Howard's Ex Demanding $325K in Unpaid Spousal Support
Terrence Howard's career is reaching new heights this year with a leading role in Empire and a slate full of film projects, but the actor's personal life continues to be a mess. Howard's ex-wife, Michelle Ghent, is suing him for $325,000 in unpaid spousal support and an additional $106,000 in legal and attorney's fees, TMZ reports.
Ghent claims Howard has missed 49 spousal support payments since their divorce was finalized in 2012. The couple's split was ugly and violent, with Ghent claiming at the time that Howard was abusive towards her on several occasions, including during an attempt at reconciliation last year.
To make matters worse, Howard's lawyers are asking a judge to dismiss them from the case, claiming "a total and complete breakdown in communications" with their client.
The Oscar-nominated actor reportedly tied the knot with his girlfriend of one month last December, though Howard has not publicly confirmed the marriage.
