Queen Latifah will put celebrity guests in the hot seat when she launches her talk show this fall, but don't expect her to turn the tables on herself.

When asked if she will finally address the long-standing rumors about her sexuality on her show, she gives a straightforward answer. “I don’t feel the need to discuss my private life on this show or any other show," she tells the Hollywood Reporter. "There’s the part of my life that the public and I share together. And there’s the part that’s mine to keep for myself. And that’s mine. For me.”

Speculation that Queen Latifah would come out as gay has been rampant for years and hit a fever pitch in 2011 when she headlined her first-ever LGBT pride event in Long Beach, California. While she didn't make any kind of official coming out statement at the event, she did tell the assembled crowd she was happy to be among "my people."

The Oscar winner also talks to THR about the Obamas (the first family has a "personal invite" from Latifah to be guests on the show), hosting the Oscars ("That is a tough job to do. Comedians can say s--t that normal people can’t.") and whether she's trying to become the new Oprah Winfrey. "There is no such thing. Oprah is Oprah," she says, "And she’s still being Oprah, in case anyone didn’t notice."
