Another Hollywood relationship has succumbed to the three-year itch. Baseball player Derek Jeter and television actress Minka Kelly have split up, reports Just Jared.
"They care about each other and it was amicable. They're still friends," says a source, predictably. The low-pro couple have managed to keep their relationship drama-free and mostly out of the tabloids over the past three years (except for those standard yearly engagement rumors), but even relative privacy couldn't keep them together.
They might be able to blame distance, though. Kelly stars in the upcoming television reboot of Charlie's Angels, which tapes in Los Angeles, and Jeter plays for the New York Yankees. Still, despite the long distance, Kelly was in the stands when Jeter got his 3,000th hit this past July. The couple had been dating since May of 2008.
