Yankee stadium went wild on Saturday when team captain Derek Jeter got his 3,000th career hit with a home run against the Tampa Bay Rays. Jeter became the first Yankee ever to do so, and only the 28th person in the history of Major League Baseball.
Jeter's girlfriend Minka Kelly, a television actress who will be starring in the upcoming reboot of Charlie's Angels, was rooting for her man from the stands. No word if he's gotten a congratulations yet from his ex-girlfriend Mariah Carey.
