Drake Shares First Photo Of His 2-Year-Old Son Adonis In Heartrending Instagram Post
Although Drake has previously opened up about co-parenting with his 2-year-old son Adonis’ mother, Sophie Brussaux, the OVO honcho has remained meticulous and careful about maintaining his baby boy’s privacy. To the delight of Drizzy fans everywhere, it appears that he’s finally ready to let the world in after sharing never-before-seen photos of baby Adonis in a sweet Instagram message.
Drake took to Instagram early Monday morning (March 30) where he uploaded a set of six photos to his official Instagram page dedicated to his loved ones. The first picture was a portrait of Drake with his arms encircled around his son while Adonis innocently gazes into the camera. This was followed by a vintage throwback of his father, Dennis Graham, and mother, Sandi, together.
In the third picture from the set, Drake, Adonis and Sophie are posing together in front of silver balloons from what appears to be Adonis’ birthday party back in October of 2019.
Along with the heartwarming photos, Drake dropped off a touching message for anyone struggling through this current rough phrase we’re all experiencing amid the global coronavirus pandemic. In the post’s caption, Drake encouraged people to shift their focus to something “bright” to combat their fears and sense of helplessness.
“We are powerful manifestors, so once you make the choice in the moment to shift your awareness to something good, it will show you in your reality. Be conscious, especially right now of fears coming in from others, and recognize that not everything should be held by you,” Drake wrote. “Laughter is your best medicine, but tears can also be a powerful release. Let go of any judgment you may have around that. Remember that you are never alone, and if you need to be reminded of that ask for support and it will show up.”
In closing, Drake left the reminder that “everything comes down to intention.”
“Even though there are conflicting energies circling around us you must KNOW...It will rebuild. But in order for that to happen, you have to do exactly that. Trust. You have the biggest heart and that is your greatest gift,” he continued. “It’s impossible to always control your surroundings, but when you shift the focus to how you want to feel, everything will conspire to assist you. I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite. Until then please keep your lights on.”
