The Internet Is At Vicious War Over Cardi B's Super Bowl Performance Rumors
Bronx femcee star Cardi B might be on track for another golden year in hip-hop after Billboard’s latest report about her possible Super Bowl LIII Halftime show performance alongside its unofficially announced headliners, Maroon 5.
According to the site, Cardi and Houston rap star Travis Scott are “on the short list,” though no special guests have been confirmed. Billboard adds that the NFL’s statement pointed out the “tradition to speculate about the performers for the Pepsi Halftime Show,” but the league has not yet reached an official announcement on whose faces will grace the stage.
Thus, nothing is set in stone for Bardi, La Flame, nor the pop rock band just yet. But the mere idea of Cardi throwing down hits on the 2019 Halftime show stage is sending the Bardi Gang into a frenzy and the rest of the internet into frustration.
See one report from Billboard’s statement and how everyone’s taking the news of Cardi’s potentially first-ever Super Bowl Halftime show appearance below.
