Joe Jackson Reacts To Quincy Jones’ Assertion That Michael Jackson ‘Stole Music’

The music mogul made some shocking claims about the King of Pop.

Quincy Jones might’ve won interview of the year already and it’s only February.

Just days ago, Vulture published an interview with the legendary producer and amongst the shocking allegations he made was the claim that Michael Jackson stole music from other high profile musicians and songwriters.

Well, this made a lot of people angry and upset. Joe Jackson, Michael’s father, has to be one who didn’t take to the interview well, and luckily, TMZ was able to catch up with him and ask him what he thought about Jones’ comments.

"I raised Michael, he's my son. Quincy Jones, he knows better. I don't want to talk about it." When asked if he thinks Michael wrote "Billie Jean," one of the songs Quincy accused him of stealing, he said, "Yes, correct."

Quincy Jones says Michael Jackson “stole a lot of stuff,” specifically the hook from “Billie Jean” and “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough.”

The 84-year-old had, at all appearances, a tight working relationship with Michael Jackson as a co-producer for the late superstar’s best-selling albums. He also threw shade at Joe Jackson, who he accused of abusing him physically and emotionally, leading MJ, in-part, to famously undergo plastic surgery.
