Vic Mensa is ready for battle or at least isn't holding back from firing a shot against the likes of Lil Yachty.

During a recent performance at the University of Cincinnati over the weekend, the Chicago rapper took a jab at Lil Boat and it wasn't, by any means, subtle.

While debuting a new song, a couple bars stood out in particular, resulting in fans sounding the alarm that we may have a new millennial rap beef on our hands.

"Yeah I signed to the Roc / Now they say I’m Illuminati," Mensa spits. "B***h I'm a tsunami / What the f**k is a Lil Yachty?"

While Lil Yachty's "mumble rap" style makes him an easy target, one can't help but wonder if something larger is bubbling here or if Mensa was just looking to complete his rhyming pattern.

Lil Yachty fired off a vague response, with some thinking it was a sub-tweet directed at Mensa, writing, "Lol might be time to hop off the planet Lil bro."
