According to 50 Cent, Here's Why He Ditched Chris Brown's 'Party' Tour
New York rap and silver screen magnate 50 Cent and Chris Brown go way back, which explained why the two were pairing up on the R&B singer’s The Party Tour announced via Instagram in February.
But while Fif may be known as one of Instagram’s top shade kings, he’s setting the record straight when it comes to rumors of his backing out of Breezy’s tour.
Reposting a suggestive headline and photo from TMZ, 50 Cent shut down insinuations that Breezy’s people fell short on the financial terms for the tour. Citing a “huge money gap,” TMZ wrote, in their idea of Fif’s tone, that the promoter couldn’t afford him. The site added that sources revealed that negotiations were underway, but due to no agreement on the price, 50 Cent dipped out of his headliner spot. But not only was this information misleading, he clarified on Instagram, it’s downright false.
“I would never say my friends can't afford me,” the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper and actor confirmed. “This run wasn't handled correctly, I'm still on set filming Den of Thieves.”
Though there’s no word just yet from either Breezy or organizers behind the event as to who will replace Fif, there’s still more big names fans are excited for. French Montana, Fabolous, O.T. Genasis and Kap G are all in on the party and, so far, it looks like the show will still go on sans Fif.
