Kim Kardashian Gets Called Out For ‘White Savior’ Complex Over Jordyn Woods Comment
Kim Kardashian is receiving some major backlash for a telling comment she made about the family’s latest sacrificial lamb, Jordyn Woods.
In the most recently aired episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the scandal between Jordyn and Tristan Thompson played out, once again, with the sisters' reactions being the focus. A few words Kim shared, in particular, left a bad taste in viewers' mouths.
After learning that Tristan supposedly cheated on her sister Khloé with Jordyn, the beauty mogul delivered a tasteless comment:
"Kylie, she provides for her whole family off of what you have given her," she said while on a group call with her sisters.

The comment didn't go over well on the internet. Twitter users, disgusted by her words, swarmed Kim's mentions, accusing her of being ill informed of Jordyn's actual upbringing and having a "white savior complex."
Some even made it a point to highlight that Jordyn, who grew up in the same area as Kylie — and their mutual friend, Jaden Smith — is no charity case and actually came from similar means as her famous friends. (Her father was a sound engineer on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.)
