Ouch: Kevin Hart Was Reportedly Extorted And Screwed Over By His ‘Friend Of 15 Years’
It was recently reported that the man who spearheaded the extortion plan to screw Kevin Hart with a sex tape was charged with two felony counts. However, his identity was not uncovered until now, and he just so happens to allegedly be a close and longtime friend of the comic.
According to TMZ, the alleged man in question has been identified as Jonathan Todd Jackson, who has been close friends with Hart for more than 15 years.
The site went on to report that the two were so close that Jackson — who often goes by J.T. — even attended Hart's bachelor party leading up to his wedding with current wife, Eniko Hart.
Jackson is apparently also an actor, having appeared in several TV series including HBO's Ballers, S.W.A.T., and the Netflix original film Naked. He also appeared alongside Hart, briefly, in his hit movie Think Like A Man Too.
Hart recently seemed to have responded to the allegations in a brief tweet, expressing his hurt:
Jackson reportedly has been trying to extort an "undisclosed amount of money" from the comedian in return for keeping the video of Hart allegedly having sex with a woman in a Las Vegas hotel room under wraps.
