Twitter Is At War Over Kim Kardashian’s Aaliyah Halloween Costume
Last year, it was Khloé Kardashian as Storm, this year it's Kim Kardashian as the late, great Aaliyah. Yep, the reality star brought it as the R&B princess and nearly broke the internet.
What do you think, did Kim Kardashian nail it as Aaliyah or was it offensive?
While Khloé was universally dragged for her Storm costume, Kim got a lot of love for bringing it as Aaliyah. One, she didn't go in blackface or some type of heavy bronzer (remember the horror of Julianne Hough as Crazy Eyes from Orange Is the New Black?). Two, she properly showed her respect by shouting Aaliyah out as an icon. Three, she nailed the outfit, which was inspired from Aaliayh's 2000 video "Try Again." See below!
