Twitter Mourns the Death of Big Black From 'Rob & Big' and Rob Dyrdek Speaks Out

Christopher Boykin was 45.

Sad news. TMZ is reporting Christopher "Big Black" Boykin, from the hit MTV show Rob & Big, has died.

According to TMZ, Big Black's rep says he died Tuesday morning. Multiple sources are claiming he died of a heart attack.

Big Black was one half of the show Rob & Big, which also starred Rob Dyrdek. The reality show followed the two of them on random adventures, but their chemistry is what helped the show run two seasons on MTV, from 2006 to 2008. Big Black will be deeply missed. He is reportedly survived by a 9-year-old daughter.

Rob Dyrdek, who was a close friend and co-host of the show they shared, spoke out after news hit the media. He says he's still in disbelief and will have the memories of his fallen friend to remember him by.

"My heart is broken," he captioned under an IG pic of him and Big. "I don't want to write this post. I don't want to believe that this is reality. I am so thankful for you. We truly were brothers that lived an unexpected unforgettable adventure. I just can't fathom that it would end so suddenly. You will forever be in my heart."

Check out his post below and the rest of social media's reaction under that.

Our condolences go out to Big Black's family, friends and fans.

Just last month we lost Charlie Murphy. Check out the BET Breaks video of Charlie Murphy, above.
