Mike Epps Won't Face Assault Charges After Allegedly Punching Woman
Mike Epps got off with just a lecture after being accused of publicly assaulting a woman at the A Haunted House 2 premiere last month. Epps, who allegedly punched his rumored ex-lover Simone Shepherd in the face at the red carpet event, will not be charged with a crime but has been ordered to report to the City Attorney's office for a lecture on on law and keeping the peace, TMZ reports.
After the alleged incident, Shepherd called the police and filed a report, but cops reported there was no sign of injury when they arrived on the scene. Witnesses claim the woman was nothing more than an overzealous fan who felt slighted and resorted to throwing drinks when Epps asked her for privacy. Epps denies laying a hand on Shepherd.
