In the latest episode of "BET Talks", host Miabelle sits down with multi-talented artist Leon Thomas to discuss his unique journey in the entertainment industry. From his early days on Nickelodeon’s Victorious to his Grammy-winning career as a producer, Thomas reflects on his evolution as an artist who seamlessly balances music and acting.

“I’ve had the pleasure of being around some of the best world builders in the world right now,” Thomas said, citing industry icons like Kanye West and Drake as inspirations. For him, music serves as therapy—a space where he can pour his emotions and merge his acting skills into the storytelling of his songs.

Thomas also credits much of his success to the strong sense of community he built through acting, particularly during his four seasons on Victorious. “When you’re doing a television show, you actually get to build a community,” he explained. “It’s like the closest thing to having a 9-to-5 in the entertainment industry.”
