Megan Thee Stallion Is Crying Tears Of Joy At ‘Savage Remix’ Cracking The Top 10 On Billboard Hot 100 Chart
Megan Thee Stallion is continuing her hot streak on the charts, with her latest single, “Savage Remix” featuring Beyoncé is blazing up the charts. The latest numbers from Billboard came in on Monday (May 4), revealing that the single leaped from No. 14 to No. 4 on the Hot 100 chart.
Megan took to Instagram to celebrate the good news with her loyal Hotties and 10.8 million social followers.
“I really want to cry right now like oh my god!!!!” she wrote in the post’s caption along with a screenshot of the latest chart tally from popular music industry analytics system, Chart Data.
“This is my first top 10 b***h,” the 25-year-old marvelled before correcting herself to acknowledge this feat simultaneously marks her first Top 5 hit as well. “Likeeeeee hottiessss we really doing this s**t! We aint never give up, we doing everything they said we wouldn’t!!!! I said ‘[J. White] give me a beat, I can go off on’ and he did,” Megan continued.”Thank you [Beyoncé]! I’m just happy to be here man. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!”
Previously, the Houston rapper narrowly missed out on cracking the top ten with her smash hit, “Hot Girl Summer” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign, which peaked at No. 11, according to Billboard.
Following the release of her remix, Megan Thee Stallion got overwhelmed by her emotions while talking about how much this moment meant to her on Instagram Live.
“It’s really crazy ‘cause my mama was like a really huge fan of Beyoncé. She used to make me watch a lot of Beyoncé stuff. When I met her, I was like ‘Oh my God.’ And, I ain’t want to be like ‘Oh my God, Beyoncé, me and my mama love you. This s**t is crazy,’” Megan said.
“For Beyoncé to even do a song with me, I really have been out for like two years. This the beginning of year two...like Beyoncé?”
