Lisa Bonet And Jason Momoa Share Update Amid Divorce News
Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa are looking ahead and into the next chapters of their lives after news broke that the longtime couple called it quits.
PEOPLE reports that while the former pair still care “deeply about each other” they “want to explore other things” and “have been doing things separately for quite a while,” an industry source confirms.
Adding, “They were a great couple with a lot of love and respect for each other, but people change and goals change and they weren't the same together anymore.”
After nearly 17 years together and five years of marriage, news about their split was announced on Jan. 12 in an official statement that was shared on a now-deleted Instagram post.
“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring,” the joint statement read once posted on the Aquaman stars social media account. “And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage.”
Bonet and Momoa began dating in 2005 and were married in 2017. They share two children, Lola, 14, and Nakoa-Wolf, 12. Bonet was previously married to Lenny Kravitz, with whom she shares daughter Zoë Kravitz.
