Amber Alert: 3-Year-Old North Carolina Girl Allegedly Abducted From Playground
A 3-year-old girl remains missing after she was first reported abducted in North Carolina on Wednesday (October 9).
On Thursday (October 10), an Amber Alert was issued in the search for Ahlora Ashanti-Sample Lindiment, who was reportedly abducted at 6:33 p.m. on Wednesday by a woman in her 20s, NBC reports.
The toddler was last seen at a playground in Greensboro on Wednesday night where she was allegedly abducted, ABC Raleigh station WTVD reports.
Now, a newly released image shows a woman investigators are eager to speak with concerning the missing child.
The woman pictured “may have information to help authorities find Ahlora, the Greensboro Police Department said, WTVD reports.
The suspect is a Black woman in her 20s who stands 5-foot-6-inches and weighs 135 pounds, investigators previously described.
The unidentified woman was wearing a short sleeve black crop top with black pants that had tiger print faces on them and a yellow stripe on one leg and a white stripe on the other leg.
She had her hair in a ponytail and wore a gold chain and dark flip flops, WTVD reports.
Ahlora has brown eyes, black hair and weighs 40 pounds. The little girl is around 2-feet tall and was last seen wearing a short sleeve pink T-shirt, black jeans and white sandals with her hair braided with multi-color beads, according to WTVD.
“Please help. I mean even if you don’t want to be known, or you don’t want to have your name or anything to do with it, you can always leave an anonymous tip to help us out,” Ahlora’s mother, Erica Lindiment, pleaded, adding, “Help us find her and make sure she gets home safe.”
“The FBI is assisting @GreensboroPD in the search for 3-year-old Ahlora Ashanti-Sample Lindiment,” FBI Charlotte tweeted Thursday. “She was las seen along Phillips Ave in Greensboro on 10/9/2019. Call 336-574-4035 or dial 911. #FindAhlora”
