Game Won't Watch the Lakers Unless They Bring Back Lamar Odom
Game really, really wants to see Lamar Odom return to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The rapper has made three pleas to TMZ for the Lakers to re-sign their embattled former forward, who continues to recover from being found unconscious at a brothel near Las Vegas last week.
Even though Odom is doing better, he may still need a possible kidney transplant. Still, Game wants to see the day that Odom rejoins Kobe Bryant and Metta World Peace in the Lakers' purple and gold.
"It ain't really the Lakers unless they give Lamar a chance to play this year," Game told TMZ. "Let Lamar play on the team."
He added to TMZ later: "Hey, I'm going to say it on every camera I could say it on. [Lamar] should be [back with the Lakers]. Kobe a real one, put Lamar out there. Metta World back. Give us our Lakers, homie."
While Odom is certainly not well enough to play anytime soon, you can't blame a hard-core Lakers' fan like Game for lobbying.
After all, Odom was a part of a back-to-back championship Lakers run from 2009-2010.
