Golden Brooks confirmed to BET.com that she recently finished taping The Exes, a new TV Land pilot starring Donald Faison. Brooks couldn’t reveal too many details, but she did say that she has a guest recurring role and will play a sportscaster who also happens to be Faison’s ex. 

The Exes is a comedy about three divorced men who live together in an apartment across the hall from their divorce attorney.

In other Golden Brooks news, she says she has been reading scripts and is even shopping one of her own. After taking a year and a half off from the scene so that she can focus on motherhood, she’s ready to move forward with her film career.

In the meantime, you can catch her in a new film called The Inheritance, which lands in stores April 12 on DVD.
