Just a day after Bill Cosby's arraignment was announced, it is being revealed that another woman has filed a criminal case against the fallen TV icon. In a slightly unexpected turn, however, it is being reported that Cosby and the woman may be close to a secret settlement.

According to TMZ, Chloe Goins sued Cosby for sexual assault, claiming he drugged and sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion back in 2008. Goins filed the lawsuit on October 6, but since then, there has been zero activity in the case. In fact, Cosby was never even served with the suit. If Chloe wants any action on this, her time is running thin as she is just days away from the deadline or the case will be dismissed entirely.

There may be a reason why Chloe hasn't moved forward with the case, though. TMZ reports that sources connected to the case are saying that nothing has happened because both parties have been talking settlement in private. While nothing has been reached as of yet, whatever they decide could be crucial since the L.A. County D.A. is reviewing the case to determine whether or not Cosby should be prosecuted.

Meanwhile, several of the 50-plus women to accuse Cosby of sexual abuse are sharing their thoughts on these first criminal charges levied against the TV icon for his alleged assault on Temple University employee Andrea Constand back in 2004. Supermodel Beverly Johnson, who was among the most high-profile women to accuse Cosby of drugging her, took to Twitter to weigh in on his recent arraignment:

Beth Ferrier, one of the original 12 Jane Does in Constand's 2005 civil suit against the entertainer, was thrilled to hear Cosby was finally arrested for the incident more than a decade ago. 
"I'm so happy for Andrea," she tells People. "I'm totally doing back flips. It has been such a totally horrific journey."
