O.T. Genasis Continues Trolling Keyshia Cole With ‘Never Knew’ Christmas Performance

The “Push It” rapper is definitely pushing it.

O.T. Genasis is still going strong with his petty trolling for R&B songstress Keyshia Cole, and he’s carrying it straight through the holiday season.

  • Despite her vocal displeasure about his off-key rendition of her classic “Love” record (which he reshaped into his social media sensational “Never Knew” song), it appears he’s returned to Instagram to poke more fun.

His latest petty stunt took place at Compton rap artist The Game’s debut Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. The “Cut It” rapper uploaded a photo on his Instagram on Christmas Day of him sporting a “Merry Crip-Mas” Christmas sweater complete with a photo of Keyshia on the front.

He captioned the post “Had fun last night @losangelesconfidential ugly sweater party 🎄 went up!”

  • Genasis continued the teasing when he gave an encore performance of “Never Knew” with The Game, Wiz Khalifa, and others in the background singing along to the tune.

  • Fans have embraced the humorous remix with its accompanying music video, but Keyshia went on to social media to say that the mix was “not cool.” She jumped on her Instagram Live to share more on her feelings about the changing of lyrics,  the mumbling and the simple mockery of one of her most notable career singles to date. Afterward, (and amid the “Love” v. “Never Knew” drama), Cole also mysteriously deleted her Instagram.

Despite several opinions from fans on the newly-emerged hostility between the two, some are fully empathetic to her agitation with the “Push It” rapper. Cole made her mark on the music industry over a decade ago, nabbing four Grammy nominations from her R&B savory catalog in the process. Judging by her latest moves, she's adamant about protecting her legacy, and she won’t be allowing any rap artist (nor remix) to blemish it.
