Look: Derrick Rose's Baby Mama Weighed In Following His Not Guilty Rape Trial Verdict

Here's what Mieka Reese had to say.

Derrick Rose and New York Knicks' fans weren't the only ones happy about the star point guard and his two friends being cleared by a federal jury in his rape trial on Wednesday.

Shortly after the not-guilty verdict was announced, Rose's baby mama, Mieka Reese, took to her Instagram to thank God for the father of her adorable son, PJ, being exonerated.

The Knicks' guard and his two friends, Randall Hampton and Ryan Allen, were found not guilty of drugging and gang-raping a woman in her Beverly Hills apartment during an alleged August 2013 incident. The woman, whose name wasn't revealed in the case, had hit the men with a $21 million civil lawsuit alleging the rape.

But over the course of the 10-day trial, a federal jury didn't hear enough to find the men guilty.

"I am thankful the jury understood and agreed with me," Rose told a pool of reporters following the verdict. "This experience and my sensitivity to it was deep. I am ready to put this behind me and focus on my family and career."
