Lil Boosie Indicted For First Degree Murder, May Face Death Penalty
Louisiana rapper Lil' Boosie (born Torrance Hatch) has been indicted for first degree murder.
Hatch was indicted on Thursday evening (June 17) by an East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury for his alleged involvement in the murder of 35-year-old Terry Boyd. Boosie and two other men (Adrian Pittman and Michael Louding) fired shots into Boyd's home back in October of 2009.
Ryan "Sneaks" Carroll, 16, Johnathan Rogers, 17, Kendrick Johnson, 19, Jared Williams, 20 and Adrian Pittman, 36, have also each been charged with first degree murder.
In addition to first degree murder, Hatch was charged with 2 counts Conspiracy to Introduce Contraband into a Penal Institution, 3 counts Conspiracy to commit PWITD Narcotics and 3 Counts PWITD Narcotics.
According to a district attorney, Hatch, who is currently incarcerated at Dixon Correctional Institute for probation violation, could receive the death penalty if convicted.
