This 'Mom, That's Not A Kid, That's Isaiah Thomas' Text Will Have You Dying Laughing
At 5-foot-9, Isaiah Thomas has probably heard all the short jokes before.
But that hasn't stopped the two-time NBA All-Star point guard from being one of the most potent scorers in the league, averaging 28.9 points per game for the Boston Celtics last season.
That being said, the short jokes are still following IT ... even to his new team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, whom he was officially traded to last week.
Over Labor Day weekend, a young fan tweeted out a picture of himself with Thomas, who was wearing a Cavs hoodie. The fan, who appears to be the same height as the NBA star, sent the image to his mom to show off the new Cavs gear. She hilariously responded, "Where did that kid get one?"
His response? "Mom, that's not a kid. That's Isaiah Thomas."
Wow! She really thought the 28-year-old NBA All-Star was just a kid. You're gonna die laughing seeing this text and all the hilarious reactions to it.
This young fan trying to show his mom a picture of him and Isaiah Thomas backfired
Sorry, Isaiah, but her reaction was just too funny.
Bleacher Report and World Star Hip-Hop caught wind of the text, too
It is hilarious.
And that made this kid's life
Thank your mom for that reaction, kid.

And just like that, the wave of jokes flooded the Internet, including this one about J.R. Smith
We're done.
Isaiah probably saw this and was like ...
Even though he has been balling out in the NBA, this kind of thing is bound to happen when you're 5-foot-9.
And this isn't the first time that Isaiah Thomas has gotten this treatment
Just last month, Bleacher Report hit the 'net with this Pursuit of Happiness spoof, including LeBron James and Isaiah Thomas.
