Game Loses Another Court Case
Game lost his court case involving a missed Kentucky concert, reports Louisville Business News. The rapper was being sued by Dream Team International for reportedly pocketing a $35,000 deposit but never actually performed at the annual Kentucky Derby Festival in Louisville last year because he wasn’t bumped to show headliner.
The company wanted $75,000 from Game, but a week before Christmas a judge ruled that he’s only liable for the $35,000, according to Bossip. In late 2014, promoters had sought a more than $500,000 default judgment for lost wages, though a judge decided there wasn’t enough evidence warranting the damages.
A litany of legal struggles has been trailing Game all year. Most recent, the father of four was found guilty of battery and order to pay $3,000 for beating up rival 40 Glocc, back in 2012.
Here’s hoping 2016 brings less conflict for Game.
