J. Cole Aims To Release Sophomore LP Soon
Few new MC's can say their debut reached no. 1 on the album charts, but North Carolina's J. Cole can do just that.
"It's a blessing," J. Cole told Connecticut's Hot 106 radio station, but it was stressful on the road to his release date.
"I'm good now," Cole said of his current anxiety level following his debut's release. "I'm already thinking about the next one and how to make it better."
"I got songs that didn't make the last album that's automatically going to make this one," J. Cole continued of the tracks he's already prepping for his sophomore album, which he revealed may be ready as soon as June 2012.
As for Cole World: The Sideline Story, the lanky MC is planning to release another single following "Work Out" and "Can't Get Enough" featuring Trey Songz.
"It'll be 'Nobody's Perfect' with Missy Elliott," Cole said.
J. Cole's debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story hit shelves on September 27 via Roc Nation.
