Shaboozey, SZA, and More Shine at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards

From SZA’s R&B reign to Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott’s rap victories, Black artists dominated the night.

The 2024 Billboard Music Awards celebrated amazing talent across the board, with Black artists stealing the spotlight in several major categories. Country star Shaboozey snagged an award, while SZA kept her dominance in R&B. Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott also took home wins, with Kendrick earning Top Rap Song for “Not Like Us” and Travis being named Top Rap Touring Artist.
