Video Of Toddler Tucking Her 100-Pound Pit Bull Into Bed With Her Goes Viral

Some are now questioning if it's safe for the dog to be lying in bed with the child.

A viral video of an Alaska girl tucking a 100-pound pit bull in bed with her has started a debate on social media on whether or not the child is being safe.

According to the Daily Mail, Adalynn Leary has grown afraid to sleep alone after Alaska was hit by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. Since the quake, Adalynn has slept next to her pit bull, which she calls her "bodyguard."

"The only way she’ll sleep is if Fury is in there with her to protect and ease her anxiety. Normally he sleeps on the floor next to her bed but that night she called him up to cuddle him," Adalynn's father, Kyle Leary, told the Daily Mail.

In a video from Adalynn's rooms, the toddler tucks the dog into her small bed before falling asleep.

Once the video went viral, people wasted no time in saying this could be a potentially dangerous situation for the girl.

"Obligatory 'this is cute but dogs should never be left unsupervised with young children,'"someone wrote on Reddit.

"Large dogs have no business being next to a child. They are animals at the end of the day and children should not be trusted around them. This is the poster for how a child gets mauled by a dog," responded another.

Others argued that pit bulls are "sweet" creatures and the video is "harmless." However, that didn't stop some from reminding Adalynn's father that she should be supervised with an animal that large.

"And commence with all the people with their anecdotal bulls**t stories about how their pitbulls are "so sweet." Yeah, they're super sweet until they maul a child," wrote one person on Reddit.
