Wait, Did Toni Braxton And Birdman Just Publicly Announce Their Breakup?
At the same time 2018’s clock ran out on New Year’s Day (January 1), ringing in the fresh 365 days of 2019, the timer on Toni Braxton’s wedding decision deadline also expired.
The R&B soulstress and her Cash Money Records-ruling fiancé, Birdman, first made plans to tie the knot early last year despite some Braxton family drama that Toni admitted nearly loused their love affair. Amid the tension, she revealed that Birdman put some fire under her for the nuptials, enforcing a time limit for her to set a wedding date by the end of the year. December 31, 2018, has come and gone, and unfortunately, no word on a date has yet to be revealed. But that date may not even exist anymore now that raised suspicions of a possible breakup between the two just hit 2019’s horizon.

Wiping out all of her 2018 posts from her account, one could simply assume she’s starting her 2019 off with a fresh slate.
But after taking her caption on the Instagram post into consideration (along with Birdman’s now-deleted Instagram story post)…
There may be some underlying implications of the social media moves after all. “Starting a new chapter isn’t always an easy choice…but ALWAYS choose to be chosen,” Toni wrote on the photo. Captured by The Shade Room, Baby’s “It’s over…” message was also enough cause for concern, coupled with his decision to also scrub his Instagram squeaky clean.
No official breakup confirmation has surfaced thus far. But either way it goes, we hope for a harmonious start to both Baby's and Toni’s new year.
