Adam "MCA" Yauch Covers Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone magazine dedicated its latest cover to Adam "MCA" Yauch, the late member of the legendary hip hop group the Beastie Boys. The article features the first interviews with surviving Beasties Adam "Ad-Rock" Horowitz and Mike "Mike D" Diamond as well as tributes from friends like Spike Jonze, Billy Corgan and Rick Rubin.
"I'm totally confused," Horowitz shares. "I'm walking my dog and I'll start crying on the street."
Adam Yauch, passed away on May 4, 2012, after losing a battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with cancer of his parotid gland and lymph nodes in 2009.
Recently, residents of Yauch's hometown of Brooklyn, New York have gotten together to honor him in their own way. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a group has petitioned to get Brooklyn Heights' Squibb Park renamed after the hip hop legend. The park is currently undergoing renovations that will turn it into a skateboarding facility.
The new issue of Rolling Stone hits newsstands May 25.
