White Fox News Host Roasted For Saying LeBron Should 'Shut Up And Dribble' And Leave Politics To People Who Aren't Dropouts

"LeBron James is just as qualified to talk about politics as Laura Ingraham, so is a literal basketball."

It almost seems like Fox News hosts enjoy getting slammed on Twitter for saying something offensive. Why else would someone dare come for the King, LeBron James?

On Thursday night, Laura Ingraham, who hosts “The Ingraham Angle,” criticized James and Kevin Durant for discussing politics on ESPN’s “UNINTERRUPTED.”

While taking an Uber with Cari Champion in Akron, Ohio, the basketball duo talked about how the current president is failing his country.

“The climate is hot,” James told Champion. “The No. 1 job in America, the appointed person is someone who doesn’t understand the people. And really don’t give a f**k about the people.”

“You need to empower people, you need to encourage people,” added Durant. “And that’s what builds a great team. And I feel like our team as a country is not ran by a great coach.”

  • Although the comments of the NBA stars have been echoed by many people, Ingraham used an entire segment to basically call them dumb

“Look, there might be a cautionary lesson in LeBron for kids: This is what happens when you attempt to leave high school a year early to join the NBA,” she said. “And it’s always unwise to seek political advice from someone who gets paid a hundred-million dollars a year to bounce a ball.”

“Millions elected Trump to be their coach. So keep the political commentary to yourself or, as someone once said, shut up and dribble,” she added.

  • Ingraham was swiftly called out for claiming only people in politics should talk politics

  • It's hypocritical to say celebrities can't talk politics when Fox News regularly interviews conservative, D-list, celebs

  • Ingraham, who has been slammed in the past for criticizing Jay-Z, was also called out for saying someone doesn't have a right to discuss national issues
