Delivering on her promise without delaying one second, Solange's new album, A Seat at the Table, promptly arrived as the clock struck midnight today (September 30).

Her highly anticipated third studio album was four years in the making, and as fans run through the project and make their initial opinions known, it’s becoming universally celebrated that the 21-track offering was well worth the wait. 

In advance of her new album dropping, the singer took to her Instagram to thank her devoted fans.

“I am overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement to share this body of work I have written, with you,” Solange wrote. In another post, the 30-year-old also thanked portrait artist Lynette Yiadom-Boakye for being “a source of inspiration and courage during my writing process. This one is for you.”

Solange’s A Seat at the Table features the likes of Lil Wayne, Kelly Rowland, Kelela, Sampha, Q-Tip, Tweet and others, and is continuously (and deservedly) being celebrated across all social media platforms as today presses onward.
