Gucci Mane Indicted for Aggravated Assault
Gucci Mane's legal struggle now includes an indictment for attacking one of the two fans who recently levied allegations against the rapper. He appeared in an Atlanta court yesterday (April 9) and was charged with one count of aggravated assault.
The incident in question occurred while partying at Harlem Nights, an Atlanta club. James Lettley, a U.S. soldier, claims Gucci hit him in the head with a champagne bottle after he asked a security guard if he could take a picture with the trap star.
Lettley was taken to a local hospital and received 10 stitches in his head.
After a warrant was issued for his arrest, Gucci — real name Radric Davis — turned himself in to authorities late last month. Once behind bars, a judge denied bond for the 33-year-old's bail, which means that he'll stay locked up until further notice.
The second fan who accused Guwop surfaced just two days after the initial reports about Lettley. He claims Gucci punched him in the jaw at a Philadelphia bar. No word from him yet as to whether he's pressing charges. Also, no word yet from Gucci.
